हमारे विद्यालय के बारे में

 KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA, KATHMANDU started functioning in 1973 under Indian Co-operation Mission (ICM). The land was provided by the Embassy of India and the building was constructed by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. The ICM was closed in 1980 and the management of the Vidyalaya was taken over by the Embassy of India, Kathmandu. His Excellency, Ambassador of India to Nepal is the patron and the Deputy Chief of Mission is the Chairman of the Vidyalaya Management Committee.

 

 

 

Our Milestones

 

 

2016-  Total 7 e-Classrooms implemented with Installation of LCD Projectors,Screen and Desktop Computers

2016- New section for Class XI Science Started.

2016 -Internet and Network facilty to all e-Classrooms and Labs

2016- Table Tennis Area,Chess Corner started

2016- New RO Water Purifier System Installed

2016-Centralized Mailing System started.

2016-Procurement of New Photocopy Machine for Primary Dept.

2016-Procurement of New Scanners to Exam,CBSE,Office,Computer Lab

 

2012-13  All the three labs (PHYSICS,CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY) are renovated and LCD Projectors fixed.

2013-14, Assembly ground and Badminton Court is cemented 

2011: RESOURCE ROOM
To keep pace with the rapidly changing scenario of classrooms and learning with the integration of technology, our Vidyalaya RESOURCE room for the students equipped with LCD projector and screen, TV, educational CDs, Xerox machine and computers was inaugurated by Sri Jaideep Mazumdar, DCM and Chairman, VMC, KV, Kathmandu, on 26th July, 2011.

2011: FACELIFT FOR THE VIDYALAYA
Under the renovation, the Vidyalaya building received a fresh look with a color wash. The waste water lines were repaired. A water treatment plant has been erected on the top and RO system has been installed in order to provide drinking water. The stair case is roofed with colored sheets. 
Renovation of the washrooms has been sponsored by Pepsi Nepal. The Vidyalaya has developed a basket ball court. 
Dabur Nepal donated Table Tennis Table and constructed T.T Shed .

2011-12: NEW COMMERCE STREAM OPENED

2011-12: KV KATHMANDU AT KVS REGIONAL SPORTS MEET
For the first time in the history of KV, Kathmandu 33 students have taken part in KVS Regional Sports Meet out of which 08 students participated in the 42nd KVS National Sports Meet. Two students selected for SGFI in swimming.

2011: GANDHI MEMORIAL INTERSCHOOL COMPETITIONS
Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kathmandu in association with Embassy of India, hosted the Gandhi Memorial Inter School competitions .
